Why does this exist?
If you've been around Costa da Caparica for more than a week, you know how it goes. You need something — a plumber, a ride, a second-hand bike — and your best bet is scrolling through five different WhatsApp groups, two Facebook groups, and a Telegram channel. Half the messages are memes, the other half are three months old. Good luck finding what you need.
And even when you do find someone, you don't really know who they are. Is this person legit? Will they actually show up? There's no easy way to check.
There's no single place where the Caparica community can just post what they need and what they offer — without the noise, without things getting lost in chat history, without having to join yet another group.
So we made one.
How it works
What is this?
A community board where you post what you need or what you offer. That's it. No feeds full of unrelated content, no algorithms — just real people helping each other out.
Who is it for?
Anyone around Costa da Caparica. Digital nomads, long-time locals, surfers passing through, expats settling in, capariquenses born and raised. If you're here, this is for you.
Do I need to sign up?
Only if you want to post something or contact someone. Browsing the board is completely open — no account needed.
How do I connect with someone?
A few ways. You can leave a public comment on a post, hit +1 to show you're interested without saying anything, or send a contact request directly. If the person approves, you exchange details. Simple, no drama.
The kind of stuff people post
Your info, your rules
Your email and phone number are never shown publicly — not on your posts, not on your profile, nowhere. They're private by default.
In your profile settings, you control exactly what gets shared: you can toggle “Share email with contacts” and “Share phone with contacts” on or off whenever you want.
When someone is interested in your post, they send a contact request. You review it, and only if you approve does the other person see the details you've chosen to share. No approval, no access.
Changed your mind? Just flip the toggles in your profile — it takes effect immediately. You're always in control.
