1.1 Introduction

Welcome to Caparica Community (“the Platform”), a personal project based in Portugal.

The Platform allows users to:

  • Post requests (“I need”) or offers (“I offer”)
  • Connect with other users in the community

By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1.2 Nature of the Platform

Caparica Community is a facilitation platform only.

  • We do not provide services or goods
  • We do not act as an intermediary in transactions
  • We do not verify users or listings

Any interaction, agreement, or transaction is solely between users.

1.3 User Responsibility

Users are fully responsible for:

  • The content they post
  • The services or items they offer
  • Any agreements they enter into with other users

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Act in good faith
  • Comply with applicable laws

1.4 Minimum Age

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. By using Caparica Community, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will terminate their access and delete their data.

1.5 Contact & Privacy Model

  • Users may choose how their contact information is shared
  • Contact details are only shared:
    • Directly (if enabled by the user), or
    • After explicit approval of a contact request

Caparica Community does not control or monitor communications between users.

1.6 Prohibited Use

Users must not:

  • Post illegal, harmful, or misleading content
  • Impersonate others
  • Use the platform for fraudulent purposes

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access if needed.

1.7 No Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Caparica Community is not responsible for:

  • User actions
  • Quality of services or items
  • Damages, loss, or disputes between users

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of listings
  • Reliability of users
  • Successful outcomes

1.8 Reporting & Moderation

Users may report content or behaviour. We may:

  • Review reports
  • Remove content
  • Restrict access

However, we are not obligated to monitor all activity.

1.9 Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Misuse is detected

1.10 Changes

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use implies acceptance of changes.

1.11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the district of Lisbon.
